As we wrap up another successful school year, the AACS Board of Directors wishes to extend heartfelt thanks for your unwavering commitment and support. Your partnership has been invaluable to our school's achievements. Have an absolutely joyous and restful summer break.

SKYRATTLER ACQUISITION
Data collected from our parent, prospective parent, and staff surveys was clear: our community is invested in the growth of our schools. To this end, the AACS Board of Directors is thrilled to share some exciting news: we have officially acquired a new school site in the Skyrattler community of Edmonton! This marks a significant milestone for our school, and we are eager to embark on this new chapter together.
The school will become operational in the 2025-2026 school year, providing time to ensure space is ready for new students. While no decisions have been made yet regarding the grade complement for Skyrattler, we will soon begin working on physical improvements to the site. This development allows us to grow in a secure and planned way; no current students will be required to move from their existing campus, and once we determine which grades will be provided in the new site, students in those grades will have the option of remaining in place or moving to the new site. Tours will soon be organized for any families interested in seeing the space.
Note that the acquisition of this site does not impact improvements in either our Sherbrooke or Alberta Avenue schools.

We would like to extend our thanks to all the parents who participated in ofour-eveninging Strategic Planning sessions held at the Sherbrooke and Alberta Avenue campuses. Your valuable insights and engagement are crucial as we shape Aurora Academic Charter School's future.
We are excited to announce that there will be more opportunities for your involvement at the start of the new school year. Your continued participation will help us refine our plans and ensure we meet the needs of our community. A final report on the Strategic Planning process will be presented to the Board of Directors in October. Thank you once again for your commitment and support.
